GET INVOLVED AS A STUDENT
LOOKING FOR A RESEARCH INTERNSHIP ABROAD?
We are looking for students who would like to do research abroad in commission of Happy Child Support for their studies, during a minor or writing a thesis. Our current research subjects are mostly concerning social studies (think of: educational theory, social work and related fields). Happy Child Support offers an amazing international experience where you will be doing research on the Cape Verdean island Sal. This is done in collaboration with Intercambios International, a Dutch organization based on Sal contributing to the development of Cape Verde.
The results of the research that is done will be used by Happy Child Support to develop our projects. This means that your research results will most definitely be used in practice! By working with students doing (social) research we can base our guidance and help on the specific situation and needs through which this support is well fitted in society. Underneath different research subjects are outlined. We would very much like to have these subjects researched.
Students will be supervised on sight by a Dutch woman named Else Zonneveld, who works for Intercambios International on Sal. She herself has a Master of Science in Medical Anthropology and has a lot of experience supervising students on the island.
If you are interested in joining our program by doing research, please contact us through the contact form displayed on the contact page or email us directly on firstname.lastname@example.org for more information about specifics concerning housing, visa, transfers, etc.
